US 11 Circular Needles, 24”                                     

Two Stitch Markers

Darning Needle

4”x4” Swatch = 7 sts x 14 rows                                

Final Measurements – 5’ x 4’                                    

Total Yards Used: 806 yards                                     

- White: 218 yards

ABBREVIATIONS / TERMS            

CO – Cast On

PM - Place stitch marker

K – Knit

P – Purl

Garter Stitch – Knit every row

Stockinette Stitch – Knit one row, purl one row

 

NOTES

When knitting in stockinette stitch, all odd rows are knit using the knit stitch and even rows are knit using the purl stitch.

The first 8 stitches and the last 8 stitches are knit in garter stitch on every row throughout the entirety of the blanket. This will give the blanket the border effect.
