CO – Cast On

K – Knit

Garter Stitch – Knit every row
Stockinette Stitch – Knit one row, purl one row
NOTES
When knitting in stockinette stitch, all odd rows are knit using the knit stitch and even rows are knit using the purl stitch.
The first 8 stitches and the last 8 stitches are knit in garter stitch on every row throughout the entirety of the blanket. This will give the blanket the border effect.
